What agents do

Why shops work with Korah

Customers submit their transfer code, ID details and payout number in the app before they reach your counter, so there is less to write down and less to get wrong. Every payout is recorded with its mobile money reference.

How to start

Tell us your shop’s name, its location and the services you already handle. We will walk you through setup. Korah operates as a sub-agent under a licensed money transfer operator.

Agent questions

What does a Korah agent do?

An agent processes customers’ submitted transfers at the counter and pays them out by mobile money, then records the mobile money reference so the customer has proof.

Which transfers can an agent process?

Ria, Western Union and MoneyGram, plus Afro International (which also pays Remitly, WorldRemit and Transfast), Sika Cash and Nafa, BnB and Transfapay. The list can grow.

How do I become a Korah agent?

Message us with your shop’s name, its location and the services you already handle, and we will walk you through getting set up.

Does Korah hold my money or my customers’ money?

No. Korah does not receive or hold funds. Money moves through the provider’s own network, as it does at any agent counter.
